Rejection Help
Hello Folks,
Just wondering if there is anything that I can do to save this photo. Photo was rejected as Undersharpened (Soft). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sharpen it a bit more and then resubmit.
Quality looks okay as it is, so becareful with the sharpening. Over use of the sharpen tool will eventually decrease the quality of the photo.

Doesn't look undersharpened to me, rather, a bit oversharpened. I see zig zags in the rails on the left track, for example, the shiny parts.

OK,
I made a minor adjustment to the sharpening and have come up with the following image.

Unsharpen Mask Preferences
Can anyone suggest a good starting point for unsharpen mask settings in Photoshop CS4. Right now I am using the following:
Amount: 100%
Radius: 1
Threshold: 3
Thanks,
Mark J. Beltrano

Looks about the same. It would help if you didn't delete the old one! But my guess is that the "minor adjustment" is too minor.
I like 80/0.6/0 for my final sharpening, but it does vary, that is my starting point and is usually good.

Unlevel. All the utility towers seem to be leaning to the left. The color looks a bit odd, too.

Thank you for all of your help guys. The photo is now in the database and is my first on RP.net, hopefully my first of many more. It sure is a relief to get that first one accepted.
