Crop from the right and bottom. I don't think the switch target adds all that much to the photo.

You cut off the bottom of the switch stand, therefore crop it out and loose most of the space on the right side.

If you are going to include an element like the stand, make sure to get it all, or else it looks half ass - just my opinion.

Exactly.

It could be too dark, but I like it that way so try first before you lighten it.

Try bumping up the contrast a little.

Do you have a version that shows the whole switch stand? I think it adds a lot to the shot, but I agree it doesn't work cut off.

No, that's it. I messed up. I should have gone lower and dropped the aperture to F10 to get it sharper. Even the whole switch stand might have still tripped the screeners balance rejection since it is left heavy with objects and the right side not so much.

So if I get cropping solved, even though I also had "the image is to dark" rejection, based on this accepted shot I am thinking I should go darker....

No, he had to get that image first.

And - I don't see what the appealed rejection was for anyway.

The rejection was one of our favorites - Horizon unlevel

Because the car is leaning, but the stacks on the roof to the left and the light pole to the right are plumb enough.

That is what happens when you just look at the thumbnails.
