I would say it's the power line and signal to the right of the frame. They're distracting the way the shot is composed.

That's going to be a tough one to save. Cropping half the wires out and having the guy wire intruding on the right are the problems. If you crop tighter, the shot won't work. If the original photo is wider, it will make the wires more visible, but sometimes that's OK if the overall scene is good. I'd have to say this one probably isn't going to make it though.

Ok thanks for the help. I might see hat I can do, but I think it might be just as well if I let it go

Default More cropping help

Nice shot Adam! Good luck with it.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with the cropping on mine? I cropped it tighter from the originally rejected photo, and I don't know what else to do here...

Thanks,
Jeremy

Thanks,

Appears the train is too far out for this kind of shot. The interesting load does add to the photo. One thing that I instantly notice is if you look at the numberboards, you can't even make them out. Also the MP sign is pretty blurred or pixelated.

I had zoomed-in to the max for this shot, that explains the blurriness. Better luck next time I guess.

Thanks for your input.
