Here's the original, by Jack Delano, a noted photographer of his era

another view from the same shoot

Delano's stuff at Railroad Heritage.org (affiliated with CRPA)

the people on facebook: liars, cheats, losers, pathetic people I guess I know this stuff goes on, but still shocking to run across it.

I don't have a facebook account. Please go back and call out Joseph Conrad for stealing from Jack Delano. (BTW, whoever did it, nice job of bumping up the color on that, a little too pastel for my tastes but still a heck of a change from the original!)

Yes, I freely admit that I do not have a bookface account. Wait, that isn't quite right. I've never signed up for yourspace. No, hmm, having trouble with all of this. I need to spend more time on the netinter and sort all this out, learn how to use a breb wowser.

Does anyone have a good book I can read? You know, the kind with paper and covers and all that? Page numbers?

Hello? World, hello?

Brilliant idea of this guy to post his photo when he's the leader of a hate-group.

Someone should create a "WE LOVE RAILPICTURES" group and see how many MORE members that will reach.

Here's a good way to ruin that site...just start posting random stuff on the main page every day. If we can get some good conversations going about sports and whatnot, the people who want to post and whine about their crappy pictures will get frustrated and go elsewhere.

I wasn't going to post anything, just sit back and chuckle to myself, but this is classic.

I spend all day working in IT. Any use of computers outside of my business hours is for a specific purpose such as photography, video editing etc. I'll use technology to aid me in my life, but not for the sake of just using it; and I certainly don't need to organise my whole social life online........!!

However, the way things are going I can see by the time I am a pensioner that I will probably be regarded as a technophobe old fogey as I'm not on Facebook
