Default Cropping again and again

Hi team,

Any idea how I should crop this one to get it accepted?

Thanks in advance.

It could be cropped from the bottom, but that's not likely to get it accepted.

What a catch the photo is ... the inbound and outbound sister trains at the same time in the same place. Backgrounded by that unique signal box.

I see no issue with the cropping. Maybe if there was a little more room on the left...but that's splitting frog hairs.

Hi Daniel,

I would remove a bit on the bottom, so the subject isn't quite as centered, then I would ADD a little on top, so that the flagpole....or whatever it is....on the top of the station is not cut off.

My aesthetic impulse would say "Crop out the worms (trains)". My well reasoned photographic sense tells me you simply got shafted by someone else's well reasoned photographic sense, as I have been many times. My recommendation is to follow the other recommendations and resubmit at a time of day different from the one you used initially.

Hi Kevin and Mitch,

Apparently, the cropping problem has been solved Now it is bad color / saturation Ishould be able to fix that. I will have another try later today.

Daniel

I am a little slow here so you are getting my crop suggestion too late.

I think it is too high a frame. So I suggest less on the bottom and more sky on the top.

Since I was working from your crop I had to use a 16 x 9 frame, something RP is iffy with. However, even so, I think this crop is stronger.

On your second reject, you obviously improved the color but not apparently enough for this screener.

I say crop with less on bottom, more sky and more intense color and sharpness.

I like the rejected crop with more foreground and less sky. In this example, the foreground is more interesting than the sky.

Me too Jim, but according to RP rules, the train was too much centered.
