Wink Have a laugh OK?

After yesterdays tension filled forums I submitted a photo and caption that hopefully the screeners got a good laugh at. But now you can enjoy this rejection!

Putting aside the main theme, it is sort of cool that you can see the signal through the tunnel.

I think there is some principle that applies here about forest and trees...

Not to start a flame war, but now that its the summer months, there are normally over 100 photos in queue.

Did you really have to slow up the process by uploading this shot that would obviously be rejected just so the slim percentage of users that read the forums could get a laugh?

Easy, John. I can't really talk for the other screeners, but personally, I like seeing something (once and a while ANYTHING) that breaks up the monotony of seemingly endless wedgies. Being someone who followed the particular thread that as being referred to, I was amused. There seems to be a lack of humor sometimes on the forums and elsewhere on RP, which is a bad thing IMO. Although this site is a business, it deals strictly with a certain hobby, a hobby that is suppose to be FUN!

At least it's not something like this!

http://www.railpictures.net/forums/showthread.php?t=703

Both of these make me laugh, but the upload in the thread I am linking to is also quite stupid, in my opinion.

Thanks for the laugh.

FWIW, I like the shot. I understand the reason for the rejection, but it is a nice shot. Sometimes, there's more to photographing trains than the train itself. Maybe RP.net needs a category for shots that are off the beaten path... or just plain off the wall.

Isn't 'waist' here in reference to the 'asses' in the photo being refered to and the 'Baby Got Back' comment and not the 'what a waste' thread from the other day? Hmmmm, awfully jumpy there, Mikey!

ha, I got it now. After I made the post I thought maybe it was a joke in reference to both my post and the rejected photo, but I didn't figure it out. My sense of humor may be somewhat...lacking I guess.

Default Thanks for the humour

Thanks for the humour dave,

Many years ago in the UK horse were used to switch wagons in small country station yards.

Are those horses and asses kept there to assist heavy up hill trains?
