Hooray for high mpg cars! We just sold my truck (12-16 mpg), and bought a used Mitsubishi Lancer. It gets between 30 and 39 mpg. Suddenly, railfannng just got a lot cheaper.

I've cut back on small "lunch break" trips that are 1-2 hours, instead I redid my work schedule so I have one weekday off (Mondays) that I can go rail fanning and then edit the pictures the rest of the week at my boring job. (Computer Support Manager)
