Default Photo submitted but no news?

I've submitted my first photo (1) to RP.net and everything showed normal and was in the queue but since I have received no news of either rejection or acceptance even though work by other photographers taken since mine was shot have shown up on the RP.net.

Is this normal?

Sometimes photos stay in the queue for an administrator to look at because the screener wanted a second set of eyes on the shot. This may take up to a day for an admin to view it, and make the call.

Could also take longer on a holiday weekend and with one of the admins on vacation.

We had a bit of a server issue the other day that affected some of the automated scripts, and it seems that the one that sends the screening result e-mails was affected. I've done some work this morning which should have resolved this problem.

Thanks for the heads up!

That's funny, Chris, because I just got an e-mail from a submission yesterday that I had forgotten about. Baldwin, if this happens again, you can go to the Members link at the top of the page and check on your queue status that way. I normally just go straight to my list of Rejected Photos.

I was scratching my head too Joe. I thought that I sleep uploaded last night when I got the email.
