Default Bad Cropping

This shot was rejected for bad cropping. I didn't realize the grain until I uploaded the shot so I will use a less grainy version. Any suggestions? Maybe try less sky?

Nice composition there.

Try cropping out a bit of the foreground and the sky. It also might be a good idea to take a bit off the left side too. That should take care of the dead space.

Hey Mike. Nice shot. Good to see you taking photos at Lockport. I live maybe fifteen minutes from that spot. Let me know if you head out there again.

Thanks! I've been picturing this shot in my head for months, and I've only just been able to get out there. I'll try cropping it like you said.

Congrats on your first acception. LOL It was on an appeal, but it got on nonetheless. Just out of curiosity what type of camera do you have and did you use the digital zoom to take it?

at first congratulations mike for the first accepted photo in our beloved website rp.net
then your rejected pic is really very cool as i like to take pix of trains where the background is ahuge planet so you can crop from the top of the pic till you reach the white steam then crop from the left about half of the empty space beside the loco then crop also from down till you reach the rails.
and let us know what will said on it.
