Default Copyright symbol in WindowsXP professional

With many of the previous versions of Windows, you could generate the "Circle-C" copyright logo by holding the ALT key and punching in the digits 0169. This don't work none on XP. Anybody know how its done these days on XP?

©Wow your right. It seems that the Num Lock light has to be on but it still doesn't work.
To see the charmap select start/ run/ type in charmap and click ok. Then click advanced view and just like you said when you highlight the © symbol it shows in the lower right corner Alt + 0169 for the keystrokes but it doesn't work. I had to copy and paste it in here to make it work.

Ahh - I have yet to do any updates, including that new one that has the higher levels of security (isn't it called something like "Service Pack 2"???). I'll give that a shot.

SP2 was released a couple days ago in the updates. If you are running Win XP and Internet Explorer go to Tools-->Windows Update and it will automatically redirect you. Go to Custom Install and SP2 should be the first update.

Alt-0169 works fine for me. Try putting Num Lock on as it will not work with the home numbers.
