Default A blonde in a short skirt...

It's amazing the ideas that people come up with to publicise special occasions. How do you publicise the 175th anniversary of your railway - with a young lady in a short skirt - obvious really.
The photograph will never get on here but I thought you might like to see it anyway,so take a look -

I wonder how many views that would get if it was better quality !!!

That's either a really big woman or a really small locomotive.

Nothing like high heels and ballast...she's a tad overexposed (or maybe she's just pale)...

I was thinking the same thing (referring to your second sentence)!

Now I need some help getting that rather horrific song out of my head...

I'd like it better if the woman in question was actually good looking.

Just my two cents.

I personally have had a problem with those trying to tell us to turn railroad photography into an "art form." It's fine for them to do so, I welcome it in fact, but what I do have a problem with is that the practitioners of the more "arty" shots, I have found, tend to look down their nose's at others who are shooting more "mundane" shots.
Railroad photography is what you make of it, but one way is not "better" than another, IMHO. Unless you have a pole right thought the nose of the engine! -SG
