Question Rejected for no reason. Really, no reason.

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...key=1292718214

No rejection reason given so I'm not sure how to proceed. Perhaps it's not railroad-y enough? It is now only a subway station but was once a real railroad one. And that was the point.

I lay myself at the mercy of the RP masses.

Discovery and history - in time, you too will find you way back.

Trains and rock groups have a lot in common, sometimes - you pick up a CD and you like it so much, you end up going back in time collecting the groups earlier CD's. And they are probably better.

I can only assume the "no reason" was an error and guess that it was either a bit on the dark side or possibly that the connection to the railroad was hard to identify. Can you approach the NYCT and have them install a big 'ole sign and then reshoot? Fix the spelling too, before Chris B does.

Hope it gets in - or a redo with better light. Looks like a ball of yarn just waiting to be unraveled. I'm curious, now, however - was the line originally a subway? If not, how did it end up being a station for a subway?

/Mitch

Instead of going into the future to shoot on a cloudy day, find a day in the future with good sun.

(See the date.)

It seems to happen every so often that a shot is rejected for "no reason." I'm guessing there is a glitch in the process. Maybe even human error. Other than that, what Mitch said.

It also looks like it is oversharpened or has bad IQ.

It's quite cyan and uninspiring. The history is interesting, but the picture does not do it justice.

Cool

The misspelling is in the RP drop down list. I didn't see the mistake at 2 am. One would assume the list only has correct spellings. Now I know.

Also we know, or should know in my case, it's about the light. I shot at summer dusk, assumed that would insure good quality and left it at that. Obviously it didn't. So I think early morning light ought to work. It should light up nicely since the building faces east.

I will go for a more interesting composition and look for better people placement.

I see the IQ issue now also. I'll have to look at what I did.

Thanks guys for the second set of great eyes.

I can even use Sunshine's comment.

Dennis... ah you beat me... that building's been in my plans for years... just never figured out a good time to get all the way up there.

If not for the IQ issue, I would honestly say reprocess and try again, but I don't see how that is fixable.

Ignore the Trojan Horse.
