Is it colour, contrast or saturation?

Please help me in finding out what the Screener did not like here:

Is it bad colour, bad contrast or a problem with the saturation? What would you change?

Photo 1: Bad color, white balance the photo to eliminate the cast from the orange/yellow sodium lamps, either using the temperature feature or with remove color cast.

Photo 2: Something weird about it, the blue is really strong, and I think they are thinking it is too saturated, so I would tone it down.

Really cool shots! You always find the unique stuff!
