Default Bad contrast rejection

Instead of adding to my already unnecessary lengthy thread, I'm going to start a new one.

I'll assume too little contrast, yes?

Underexposed? Has an odd color cast to it. More contrast, yes, but that's not the only issue.

Looks like you got cloud screwed. I'm surprised they didn't give you the bad info rejection for giving a GE the title of a EMD.

Haha looks like my laptop screwed too. It did not save the new info. What an embarrassment .

It needs a little more umph! to the shot. More color, more contrast. Right now, it looks kinda drab and it's because the sun was filtered through some cloud cover. It's not a bad shot, but it may be a hassle to get it on RP.

That's an awful long bike ride for a 15-year-old from Glassport to Fostoria and Deshler.

Heat distortion sucks. I try to avoid tele shot across fields on hot summer days. Even in the spring, the heat distortion ruins everything.

Try this...

http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=377860
http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=309351

Get the idea from me?

And the first shot is in Deshler, not Fostoria.

The shot across the field has potential, just shot at the wrong time of day/probably even wrong time of year.

Also, both photos have a strange orange/red tint to them... reminds of the terrible 'daylight' white balance setting on older Nikon DSLRs.
