Default Station Night Shot

Any thoughts?

I didn't mess with the color so not sure about the "Bad Color" and I like the horizontal balance. Do they want me to do something vertical?

Thanks in advance!

White balance is way off. Very orange/red tint. I don't mind the cropping, I think RP wants a little wiggle room all around though. You're the dude that posted that Pinkerton video on Pittrails, no?

Don't have any more room left or top to wiggle unfortunately... (which is where I assume they may want it) I'll play with the balance, the lights in there don't help with the color.

I literally hopped off 30 without contacts in and pretty disoriented, grabbed the shot, and then hopped back on!

And yes, I'm that guy!

No they don't! Pretty easy fix though. 145 has been a regular on 43/42 along with the -8's (514, 513, 512), so you could probably redo the shot. See ya on Pittrails

I'm bit far from Pittsburgh living near DC!

Ran out of submissions, before I try again, does this look like an improvement?

Not really, lets talk via FB instead of clogging up the forums.

White balance isnt "way off", the light and color sucks because it's sodium vapor lights which give off an orangeish / amber color light.

You can correct it to some degree via white balance or color temp adjustments.

Don't know if RP cares, but that heritage unit actually hurts the shot because that black upper nose blends into the background completely.

Davis,

I saw this photo on Facebook a few days ago. Keep it open like you had it on there.
