It may be a case of oversharpened foliage; those "sparkly" sort of tiny artifacts can happen that way. Just seems speckled, if that is the right term.

EDIT: didn't see that the reject language now says don't resubmit. I would say check to see if it is a sharpening issue, in general try simply reprocessing it. I don't think you are done here yet.

Looks fine to me.

Poor image quality can often result from overprocessing. For them to say it should not be resubmitted for consideration is silly.

I agree. It looks okay to me. I wouldn't worry about it, though....

Thanks for the advice guys.I'm going to have a go at re-processing,then I guess it's off to Flickr,as they don't want me to re-submit.
I did think about appealing,and mentioning that I could have another go at processing but maybe it's too much bother - it's only a picture.
