Sharpen Help

I might need some glasses or a new computer monitor. I can not seem to get this photo sharp enough for them to except it. My eyes are hurting over this one.

If you use GIMP, setting the simple Sharpen slider to 50 will produce this, which looks good to me--

It also helps to look at the would be final image at 100% (full size) in your editor to judge the effects of sharpening.

Thanks for the advice. I have downloaded and installed GIMP and found the sharpen tool very easy to use. Maybe I should be using GIMP instead of Canon's Digital Professional software....

The second is better but the "Big W" is still a little soft. Spot sharpen it if you can.

Looks pretty good to me. For whatever reason, RPNet likes to see the pixels sizzle. Personally, I'd bag it, anything more and it's going to start looking ugly.
