Geez Bill I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! I never look at this message feature in the forums and it wasn't until I went to check something on my profile that I found it. That shot was probably taken at ISO 50, f22, 1/20th second shutter speed give or take. Using a 24-105 lens on a full-frame sensor body, start with the lens zoomed out and zoom back in keeping the train in the same relative position of the frame as you go. Do it right and your result should look something like this: http://www.railpictures.net/photo/469045

    Hi Wayne,

I have a question regarding the GO Transit shot you posted on the first page of the "Does a single person waiting for a train constitute foreground clutter?" thread. What kind of settings are used for the blur like that? Is that based on aperature?

    Thanks,

    Bill
