After a long X-Mas eve of northbound after northbound coming out of the sun, we're finally rewarded with a southbound as VE1A slams over Lakeshore Drive. This was a daily run between Selkirk, NY and Enola, PA. Back in the day that I took this shot, the second track had been gone for at least a decade, but the foiliage hadn't come back. It was pretty common for folks to ride their bikes up and down the ROW, and even to drive their 4x4s there. Wouldn't do that today.
