The Union Pacific titans, Big Boy 4014 and DD40X 6915, are on permanent display in Pomona. They can be seen any day during the LA County Fair, or the second weekend of the month when the local So Cal RLHS group is around. Of course, Big Boys never ran in California, and I've been told that 4014 (ALCO 1941) is the only one to ever enter the Golden State, coming upon retirement in 1962. Cententials, like 6915, were ubiquitous in the state from their 1969 delivery until their final retirement in 1985.
