Montreal-built passenger power... Passenger locomotives from Canada's two largest railroads, both built by the Montreal Locomotive Works, are represented in this photo. Canadian Pacific 4-6-2 2317, built by MLW in June 1923, spent most of her time north of the border hauling passenger trains in western Canada and now toils on Steamtown's yard shuttles. Canadian National 4-6-4T 47, built by MLW in September 1914, was used in suburban commuter service in Montreal and now sits outside near the walkway bridge to the Steamtown Mall.
