Remarks & Notes |
Amtrak's Capital Limited makes its daily stop at Matinsburg, West Virginia. The station here in Martinsburg happens to be the oldest station Amtrak serves on its system. Built in 1849 as a hotel, it was remodeled into a railway station and hotel in 1866. By the way, peaking through the trees is the now closed "NA" tower. |
