Merry Christmas from the woods of Maine! Each year, on the Saturday before Christmas, the WW&F Museum hosts an event called "Victorian Christmas" as a thank-you to its patrons. Hundreds of folks brave the cold to enjoy free train rides, a visit with Santa, sleigh rides at Alna Center, hot beverages and good cheer. This year's event took place under mostly sunny skies with crisp, cool air. The celebration was capped off with a night train to Alna Center. Here, old #10 puts on a steam show as she hooks up to her train for the last run back to Sheepscot and a long winter of hibernation.
