Rockville Bridge Derailment At around 4pm on December 27, 2010 Norfolk Southern's 21T, traveling from Harrisburg to Chicago, derailed on the Rockville Bridge as a result of 50 mph winds from the Holiday Blizzard of 2010. Here, 15 hours later at dawn, wreck crews are placing the final car back on the tracks. The derailment occurred near the spot where a loaded CSX coal train derailed in 1997. Conrail repaired the bridge by putting a patch where the crane is operating in this photo. View more of my photos at http://mst145.rrpicturearchives.net
