COAL. That one word pretty much sums up everything that's going on in this photo: Two loaded Union Pacific trains grind up the 1.0% grade of Logan Hill on Mains 4 (C-ANC91-06, left) and 3 (C-BMWX1-06), while an empty BNSF train glides towards Converse Jct. in dynamics on Main 2, set to become load C-ATMMHS0-59A out of Antelope Mine later in the day. A distant red signal on Main 1 indicates that yet another load has been lined up the hill, continuing the never-ending parade of trains hauling the clean-burning, BTU-laden dinosaur turds dug out of Wyoming's basement.
