The Innards of WKS 734 Built in 1956 by GE, the WK&S acquired this locomotive in 2004 from Project CNJ 113 in exchange for a CNJ business car. From December 2006 to June 2010, this locomotive has been completely restored by volunteers at a cost of $30,000. Inside are two 235 horesepower, supercharged Cummins NHBIS diesel engines. A special thanks to crew members Rob & George for giving us this unique view of the 734 and providing a great day of railroading! View more of my photos at http://mst145.rrpicturearchives.net
