Climbing through Dranoel, the Havelock finds a bit of sun at the 'road' crossing. Not much of a road past here. This is a tough little spot to get decent light on a train thanks to the abundance of trees in the valley and on the surrounding hills. About 3/4 of a mile back is the old station of Dranoel, where the Georgian Bay & Seaboard to Port McNicholl (on Georgian Bay) joined the Ontario & Quebec Rwy (Havelock Sub) at a wye, still visible from the air. CP 3114, 3045, and 3133 do the honours. 1854hrs.
