D&H 606 leads two other Alco C-628's north/eastbound below Starucca viaduct at Lanesboro, Pa . The train, out of Hudson Yard, Wilkes-Barre, PA., has just completed a demanding down hill run from Ararat Summit, and stopped to pick up a Swing Brakeman, required by New York law. Once the train has cleared, on its way to Oneonta, the similarly powered southbound train, waiting to the left, will begin its climb over the Moosic Mountains.
