After the 822 and 43 brought VIA cars down from Montreal on November 18th, these units start out Monday morning by pulling the cars down into the station during a switching move. The cars will be turned and moved over to the shop area to be prepared for use on a NB run of the Adirondack on 11-20. The 43 has unique white lettering curtesy of the blue peeling off. From left to right on the Albany skyline is the NYS museum, Corning Tower, Agency buildings and The Egg, and jumbled on the right from top to bottom, the Alfred E Smith Building, NYS Capital, and the ex D&H Railway Building, now a SUNY admin building.
This album seeks to portray classic New England and Upstate New York imagery. It showcases the most perfect examples of regional identity, with special attention to structures and landscape.
