Apache Railway #98 leads the weekly coal train through S curve just outside of Snowflake. Every week the Catalyst Paper Mill, the Apache Railway's owner, required one of these coal trains to maintain paper production. This massive coal train was rated at over 8100 tons and required all 6 of the Apache Railways road locomotives. This was the last great show for ALCo diesels in the Western United States, sadly the coal trains stopped running in August 2012, with the paper mill shutting down the following month.
