Hoping to chase the plow back east out of Watertown, I was a tad disappointed when I found out they were heading west. Looking back, I'm much more thrilled to have chased them west. When traffic necessitates, this line only sees up to one train a week. Here, the plow finishes its last stretch before the crew gets off, moves to the other plow, and they head back, pushing the snow they cleared on the way down. To add to the excitement, just east of here, they met the local coming down the line to retrieve two centerbeams. 63 years after being built by the GN, this plow still earns her keep.
