Switching Santa Fe's A Yard in San Bernardino, California, in the 1940s is 0-8-0 614. Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1901 as AT&SF 2-6-0 614, the engine was rebuilt into an 0-8-0 by the railroad's Topeka (Kansas) shops in March 1928. This engine would be sold for scrap to Midvale Iron & Supply Company on June 22, 1654.
