Four cylinder compound express train steamlocomotive A 3/5 # 705, built by SLM in 1904, with a fast train to Romanshorn, crossing the Thur bridge in Müllheim-Wigoltingen. Photographers note: The overhead wires were removed.
As the years go by, more and more steam engines are being restored and operating therefore the old expression "steam is dead" is nothing but a false expression. Steam is strong and still ruling the rails.
