Remarks & Notes |
"Phase III P32 at the Cool Abandoned Factory Thing" Amtrak 238 with P32AC-DM #704 flies south down the Hudson Line past the Cool Abandoned Factory Thing. The Cool Abandoned Factory Thing is in fact the name of the building in the background and is located behind IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY (This location can even be found on Google & Google Maps).
P32 #704 is the first of Amtrak's P32s to receive the new "Amtrak America" Phase III paint scheme. In addition to the scheme the locomotive also features an "Empire Service" logo on each side. THIS IS NOT A HERITAGE UNIT! All 18 P32AC-DMs will slowly be repainted into this same scheme one by one. |
