Remarks & Notes
The B&O's Lafayette sitting in Otto, North Carolina in 1955. This picture was taken during the filming of The Great Locomotive Chase, a Walt Disney film starring Fess Parker. The William Mason played the role of the "General", the V&T's Inyo played the "Texas", and the Lafayette was dressed up as the "Yonah." The filming took several weeks and the Tallulah Falls Railroad was paid $10,000 for their role in the movie.
