An westbound BNSF train is stopped at East Portal waiting for their turn to go thru the Moffat Tunnel. The tunnel has to vented after each train to clear out the exhausted since the tunnel is so long. Once the tunnel is vented this train will continue the journey west towards Grand Junction and on to Salt Lake. Weather near the continental divide can be brutal sometimes, especially in the winter. Minor ground blizzards are coming and going as the wind whips thru the mountains.
