Former Reading 4-8-4 2102 eases through Temple, Pennsylvania with former Gulf, Mobile & Northern 4-6-2 425. The Pacific has remained a staple of the Blue Mountain & Reading/Reading & Northern excursion fleet, while the big Northern hasn’t had a fire in its belly for years. That is expected to change, as the 2102 is in the R&N shops to be returned to service. Having a T1 running on the former Reading main line between Reading and Mount Carmel Junction would be great to see again. There is a possibility that sister 2100 will be brought back to life in Ohio, but the damage done by the ill-conceived oil burner conversion while it was out west will make this difficult. To see two T1’s in steam together for the first time since the Reading Rambles of the early sixties would be miraculous.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
