Because of track works between Gelterkinden and Tecknau on the Hauenstein base line, during several weeks some trains are rerouted over the old Hauenstein line from Olten via Läufelfingen to Sissach. An unknown Re 460 is pushing the short doubledeck IC2000 push pull Interregio 3476 (IR 2476) from Lucerne to Basel over the viaduct of Rümlingen, on the north ramp of the Hauenstein pass. The 127 meter long and 25 meter high viaduct over the Häfelfinger valley was built between 1855 and 1856 by the Schweizerische Centralbahn (SCB), the line Sissach-Läufelfingen-Olten was inaugurated in 1858. It is one of the oldest railway viaducts in Switzerland. Usually there are hourly regional trains on this line only, which are replaced during some weeks by buses, to free the line for express and freight trains.
