Running the back 40. Running around the circumference of Henry Ford's Greenfield Village every 30 minutes, the 2.5 mile Weiser Railroad provides a shuttle service to transport park visitors between the historic districts. It also provides a tour of the entire village, for those who elect to take the entire ride. The train stops at four stations strategically located near major points of interest. In this scene, Locomotive #1 "Edison" is seen hauling the shuttle train past the most remote station in the park, that being the one serving the ball fields on the "back 40" as well as the Henry Ford Academy. When there are events back here, or school is in session, the train will stop here, but most of the time it runs straight through to the next scheduled stop, at Smith's Creek Station, in the Railroad Junction District.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
