In a rare move, UP placed an inbound stack train from Dallas in the siding at Walker for short term storage. Here, an IWATIX crew takes the train out of there and towards the Evergreen facility on Terminal Island. The train is traversing the La Habra Sub, originally the Pacific Electric's Whittier Line. This was used as one of the through routes to the LA Harbor until the Alameda Corridor was completed in 2001, and this segment is now only used for storage moves. There's usually a baretable train a few times a month, but it's much less common to see a full stack train. The train is in the City of Bell, while the area on the left is in Maywood. They just crossed over the LA River, Walker siding is on the other side of the bridge.
