Ryazansky sleeper impregnation plant - the last and oldest operating sleeper impregnation plant in Russia, was founded back in 1880. Throughout its history, the plant has kept technological leadership in wood impregnation and is currently unique for Russia and the only one that can simultaneously impregnate with both oil and water soluble antiseptics. In addition to sleepers, the company produces impregnated wooden poles for power lines and telecommunications. Today, the main customers of the plant are the countries of the Middle East and the electric grid companies.
