From its deport in Chehalis, Washington, the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad regularly operates steam-powered tourist trains on approximately 10 miles of former Milwaukee Road track. Cowlitz, Chehalis & Cascade 15, 2-8-2 (BLW 44106 / 1916), posed for a night shot at the Chehalis yard. At the throttle is Harold Borovec.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
