While SO many things have changed in 25 years from this photo, for some reason an afternoon hotshot train for Seattle, WA, still rumbles across the Aurora Sub from Chicago in 2019. Back in 1994 an A-B-A BN consist pounds train #3 thru east siding switch at Burke making time on a stormy afternoon. The PTC upgrades last year changed out the signals here, the last thing to change from this photo in 1994. Many other things were long gone not real long after this photo was taken.
