The MMRR crew runs LHF westbound over the Swan Creek with 16 cars.
Today the MMRR got their first grain train of the season; a 92 car private grain train for MAC in Breckenridge. On duty at 0800 this morning, it was a 3 man crew to efficiently get the train over the road. The train was spotted at around 1400, and the crew ran engine lite back to Paines to grab some short work. By the time I caught up, they were crossing Miller Road approaching the west end of Paines Pass.
I wasn't sure how to change up this over shot location of mine, so I ventured back down to the creek, to allow my creativity to work it's magic. Within seconds, I decide to lay down, and angle my camera slightly up to accommodate the train. A little cold and wet wasn't bad for today's "Money Shot".
