Soaring over a fork of the Yellowstone River, we see a trifecta of blue; sky, locomotives and river. This area will soon swell to triple its depth as snow melt starts running, drowning everything in sight with river water. This view also provides a nice contrast between the older MRL scheme, and the modern one, which have very different shades of blue. Also of interest is the fact that of the two units, the leader is actually more common on the MRL with 4 (2 operating) SD45's left. The trailing unit is the only example of an SD40-2 on the MRL's roster.
