Historic High Horsepower. The recent donation of GECX 6002 (ex-UP 7511, AC6000CW) by Wabtec to the Lake Shore Railway Museum in North East, Pennsylvania made it the first General Electric AC traction wide cab engine to be preserved on a museum roster. Arriving on March 17, 2022, it was placed in a prime location in the grounds and has attracted a lot of attention. During the "Lake Shore After Dark" event on Saturday, June 25, 2022, it was available for night photography by those in attendance.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
