A Clear Cattaraugus. New York and Lake Erie Railroad 308 (née-Erie 308, S1, Alco, 11/1946) was posed on the bridge over Cattaraugus Creek in Gowanda, New York on Saturday, June 25, 2022 during the photographers special. The FPAs were posed here first, then shoved the train back and cut off to allow the S1 to take the spotlight. This unit was recently repainted into its Erie Railroad paint scheme to honor the heritage of the line.
