Engine in Transit: After being picked up by NS H76 in Three Bridges, NJ, the Chesapeake & Delaware’s GP9 BDRV 752 sits on Norfolk Southern Lehigh Line Track #1 at CP Sully as NS H76's power runs around the train. This engine spent a few years working at Mid-State Packaging a few hundred yards away from this location between 2015 and 2021. It would now be transferred east to Allentown, PA by NS H76, then would move to Oak Island-Newark, NJ via NS 18G, be brought down to Conrail's Browns Yard in Old Bridge, NJ via CR OI16, and ultimately be delivered to the Chesapeake & Delaware's new operation in Red Bank, NJ via CR SA31. The entire journey of the engine took about a week. The engine formerly was Clarendon & Pittsford CLP (VTR) 752, Burlington Northern BN 1879, and Northern Pacific NP 256.
