With the Virginia Scenic Railway's Grand Opening to the public, the Scenic train has two runs, the Alleghany Special going westbound to Goshen, Va and the Blue Ridge Flyer eastbound to Ivy, Va. Both runs start out from the Staunton Depot in Historic Staunton, Va. The two runs within the first couple of weeks sold out all the way thru Thanksgiving.
