At the Waycross, Georgia shop on September 19 and 20, 1992, CSXT forces painted over the gray on the brand-new C40-8W No. 7812 for use on then President Bush's campaign train. The locomotive was renumbered temporarily to No. 1992 for the special occasion. By January 1993, No. 1992 was renumbered back to No. 7812. Standard CSXT lettering now replaces the 1992 on the wide nose, and the Presidential seals have been removed. CSX 7812 at Waldbridge, Ohio in May 1993.
